Metropolis

This project is an excellent example of turning a designer's concept into reality. Jones documented, engineered, fabricated, and installed the decorative building aluminum panel system and the complex metal canopy. Additionally, Jones performed this project in the logistically challenging downtown Los Angeles urban environment. Installers worked around obstacles including lane closures, public space, and compressed site conditions. Jones's turnkey solution to this challenge was to fabricate and finish the canopies and screens in the factory and utilize smart modular sections to reduce installation resources and timeframe. Ultimately, this allowed a reduction of site hours and created a more cohesive environment for other trades to complete their scope of work. trades played a significant role in the success of this project
